Focus Packs FAQ

What are focus packs?

A focus pack combines two or more distinct modules or learning formats (such as multimedia tutorials, interactive videos, and article quizzes) into a single, cohesive module. All content centers on one topic, helping you focus and build deeper expertise without switching between separate modules.

How are focus packs different from bundles?

bundle is a group of modules sold together for a discount. When you purchase a bundle, you will gain access to all of the modules, but they remain distinct modules that you complete independently from one another. You will receive a certificate of completion for each module in the bundle.

A focus pack is a collection of content that is sold and completed as a single module. This promotes a more guided and focused exploration of the topic at hand. You will receive a single certificate of completion for the entire focus pack.

How long will I have to complete a focus pack?

Focus packs are entirely self-paced and you can take as long as you wish to complete them. Your date of completion will be based on when you complete all of the lessons or components of the focus pack.

Can article quizzes (which are often included in focus packs) count as BCBA CEUs?

Yes, article quizzes published before July 1, 2026 count as valid BCBA CEUs. All article quizzes currently available on CEUniverse were published before that date and remain fully eligible for CEU credit.

Starting July 1, 2026, the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) updated its ACE provider requirements to discontinue article-plus-quiz formats as an acceptable CE delivery method.

We respectfully disagree with this decision by the BACB. It is based on flawed reasoning, unfairly uses criteria that are not used to evaluate or limit other CE formats, and is contrary to behavioral approaches to instruction. More importantly, article quizzes have historically served as an important incentive for BCBAs to engage directly with the research literature, and we're concerned that eliminating this pathway may reduce that engagement over time. That said, this change does not affect any article quizzes already published on CEUniverse; those remain valid CEUs. It does mean we will not be publishing new article quizzes after July 1, 2026.
